X-rays are not just a tool to see bones, but they assist us in detecting and identifying any change in size or shape of an abdominal organ, the presence of any potential foreign body or obstruction (intestinal or stomach), any changes or lesions in the lungs, heart or spine as well as other possible disorders. There are certain instances where we may prefer to get the opinion of a expert and send the radiographs out for interpretation. We seek specialized input from Antech Imaging Services (AIS), a team of Board Certified Radiologists, that respond within a 24 hour window with their interpretation.
