A small rice grain sized device implanted at the back of the neck under the skin with a specialized implanter. We highly recommend getting your furry family member chipped. Though it is not GPS, it is a tamper-proof permanent form of identification. Collars with proper identification are great, however if the collar somehow comes off your pet, a microchip gives them the best chance of being returned should they get lost or stolen.
